This coming Saturday is the last
Pike Place Market Historic Walking Tour event of the season. If you’re new to the area or have friends from out of town, this is your chance to get educated on one of the more well known historic areas of Seattle. The one hour tour will be led by the Friends of the Market Organization — the group who led the fight to preserve the market in the 1960’s. This tour will compare the market to how it existed in the 1960’s. Oh, not to worry all you cheapskates, this thing is free. And meet at the pig under the clock if you’re going to go. That’s right I said
meet at the pig under the clock!
