The fountain got replaced in 1995 - more info <a HREF="http://seattlecenter.com/events/location/detail.asp?VE_VenueNum=244" rel="nofollow">here</A>; the old one, as pictured, had nasty pointy water spouts, not like the kid-friendly one we currently have.
