Thanks for the info, and for the compliment. Glad you like Living Small; the feeling is mutual. I've enjoyed Vintage Seattle since its inception!

From what people living there have told me, the court fell into bad times in the 1970's when they were apartments. Apparently they added to the CD's "seedy" nickname. I wouldn't be surprised if they use the same kit. Nice find.

One cool thing for me personally is that the house I live in (built in 2005) is a Craftsman inspired home that is heavily inspired from these cottages. The builder looked to them to make the house fit into the neighborhood. Everything, even down to the thin clapboard first floor and 2nd floor shingles as well as the paint colors.

I really like your Living Small Blog. Great design and I love the concept. I'm a big fan of the minimalism that having a small place inspires. My house is just 960 squire feet and I love it.

Hi Cliffe: I've been watching this house for a while. I'm guessing it was built from the same kit as was my own home in the CD's more northern Pine Street Cottages. Do you know anything more about these two Craftsman-style cottage courts?
