My family members have passed down history that my Italian grandmother's twin nephews had a shoe store on 1st or 2nd Avenue downtown Seattle. My mother said the name of the store was their last name which would have been Saura but I can't find any info. Feel free to email me if anyone an help. This would have been in the early 1930s, 40s, 50s. Thank you.

There's a printer down in Pioneer Square that claims to be Seattle's oldest business. I can't remember the name, but you can see their sign from the viaduct. No idea how accurate that is!

Wow, who knew they were still around?
I was thinking perhaps Filson, but they're 1897. How about Washington Mutual (1889)?

Cowboy boots! I got a milliong songs you can sing Cliffe, Kid Rock's "Cowboy" or you can reenact a scene from "Coyote Ugly" or "Brokeback Mountain". The possibilities are endless. J/k.

Great ad though.

You mention that it's "one of the oldest continually running businesses in Seattle." Which has me thinking, what is THE oldest anyway?
