  1. Cascadian says:

A quick Google search shows that “Equitable Savings and Loan Association” was founded in 1890 in Oregon and arrived in Seattle in 1941. (There’s also a current S&L with the same name in Colorado, but it’s not the same company.) Of course, we already knew this was post-1941 because of the previous clues. That’s all I’ve got.

  2. Bradford says:

The star configuration on the flags show 48 states, which puts the date at 1958 or earlier, but after the production of that Hudson Wasp in one of the earlier photos. The first photo on this page shows a banner for NPS. Most likely the “Naval Postgraduate School” as I don’t think the National Parks Service would be part of such a parade with uniforms like that. The last photo is not in Seattle but more likely in Bellevue judging from the sign on the building (“Parking Courtesy of Libs” indicates that it could be their own lot next to their store). One more thing to add regarding the previous photos- the emblems on the motorcycle gas tanks, and round patches on rider’s backs are that of the VFW.

  3. Bradford says:

So basically- I think it all boils down to whether these shots are pre-Elvis or post Elvis ;)
