Did you know that, like many prominent buildings around America during that era, they used to have a huge baseball diamond and scoreboard on the side of the building, and during playoffs, the townspeople would gather around to "watch" the game progress? http://www.nps.gov/nr/travel/seattle/s12.htm I've been trying to find a photo of that, but have failed thus far! Maybe one simply doesn't exist. I love that building, I really do.
