It ticks me off when old buildings get knocked down to make way for anything. I wish the Mayor did a a little more (er, that should read DID SOMETHING) to help protect historical buildings. Oh, but wait, I forget, he wants to turn Seattle into a mix between Bellevue and Vancouver.

Rant over :D

It is seriously a shame to see these go - they look like great little properties that still have a lot of period charm.

Hospitals destroy neighborhoods. It's too bad, those would've made great offices like SS said.

Is there a possibility of moving these? Too bad...if they were old commercial buildings possibly, just possibly, they could be integrated into the new construction.

These Scrooges need to have a visit this Christmas from the Ghost of Adaptive Reuse Past. These houses would make fantastic medical offices for a small practice.

It would be great if these houses, especially the 1900 era house, could be moved to another lot, possibly somewhere in the greater Central District area. But alas I assume it is too late and I definitely don't have the money or lot to purchase and move them.
