The new and modern Scottish Rite Temple is a credit to the City of Seattle and one of the finest structures of its kind serving the State of Washington. It has been hailed nationally as ideally designed and adapted for the purpose for which it was erected. 1155 Broadway East, Seattle 98102 — East 4-3330 Walter M. Woodburn, Secretary. I like them both. Too bad they are both gone.

  2. Wow, I had to look on the map to see where Mattawamkeag, Maine was. It’s even more remote than all those fictional towns that Stephen King stories usually take place in.

Again, http://maps.live.com reveals some good stuff if you position it just right. Normally it will show the empty lot where the second Scottish Rite building stood, but if you do it just right, it will show the old content, before the building was torn down, as these two pictures show (the first looking north, the second looking west).
