Scottish Rite Cathedral Take 2

Last week I posed a card of the early 1900′ s Scotti sh Rite Cathedral. Alan Stein thought in the comments that the original building was abandoned when this new structure was built in the early 60′s. This building has also since been demolished. Click for higher res.
I like them both. Too bad they are both gone.
Wow, I had to look on the map to see where Mattawamkeag, Maine was. It’s even more remote than all those fictional towns that Stephen King stories usually take place in.

Again, http://maps.live.com reveals some good stuff if you position it just right. Normally it will show the empty lot where the second Scottish Rite building stood, but if you do it just right, it will show the old content, before the building was torn down, as these two pictures show (the first looking north, the second looking west).
