    I’m so glad that little girls don’t have to wear cat-eye glasses anymore. It made them look so oddly adult.

    If I recall correctly the old “Children’s Zoo” (as if the rest of the zoo was adults-only!) was located in the vacinity of what is now “Bug World” and the “Habitat Discovery Loop” play area. Some of the brick walls used to separate the children’s zoo from the rest of the zoo are still standing.

    JP Patches fully deserves his many accolades but for those of us of a certain age, the ol’ Scandahoovian was a wonderful friend growing up too, while watching the “talking box”….the King 5 Klubhouse was great fun and so was getting to meet Stan, and what’s more, No-Mo-Shun!!!!
