It’s the angle that never gets old and Max R. Jensen perfected it over the years.

Do you know where that view is? I’ve been to Kerry Park many times, and the view is great, but from that angle the Needle is further to the left of Mt. Rainier. Is there actually (still) a public location you can go to to see that view, with the Needle right in front of the mountain?

I have a feeling this shot was taken from the balcony of a south-facing private condo or apartment on Queen Anne. No proof, but just a hunch.

  3. Diane (Max Jensen's daughter) says:

Since my dad had been an ironworker for many years, and could thus get a “pass” to go where other photographers could not, this may have been taken from one of the TV towers on Queen Anne Hill. However, I don’t know if this view would “line up” correctly from one of the towers or not. This is just a guess.
