We’re back with Part 5 of the “World’s Fair Sliding” feature, courtesy of Vintage Seattle reader Josh Salwitz.
Thankfully for the rest of us, he purchased the slides from an unkown photographer at the Salvation Army for just $1.50 and scanned them in. If you need to catch up on Part 1 through 4, just
click here. Once again thank you to Josh and here they come:

I´m just loving the images of the Coliseum under construction. I spent so much time in that place going to Totems, Sonics, Thunderbirds games, concerts..It´s such a unique design. Thanks Josh and Jess.
OMG !! the Totems..I’d forgotten that hockey team..I was at a few of their games too. I remember Bill Cosby was at the Coliseum in those days, but I didn’t see him but heard the “HEY, HEY, HEY” and the laughter from outside.
Totems vs the Portland Buckaroos….which reminds me, please help Save The Buckaroo!! Don’t let it go the way of the Twin Tepees and the Jolly Roger….of course, I doubt the owners of The Buck would torch it, like those two
