Wow, there’s not much hair in this photo, considering the sheer number of heads. I bet some of these heads are famous in their Seattle civic way. Any idea where this hall is?

I love the guy’s expression at the 1:00 position at the first table on the right.

There isn’t a smile in that room! Whoever took the photo must not have been very popular.
Any “Rotarians” out there that can explain what the story was with women and Rotary in 1937? There are women at the head table and women at the table in front of the speaker, but I can find only one woman (she’s at the far right of the picture, wearing a hat) at the other tables.
Alan J. Stein: You are correct…I recognized it too (I worked there).
TheThunderingHerd: Women weren’t allowed in Rotary until 1987. That fight went all the way to the Supreme Court. I assume the women in the photo were guests or part of the program.
But we’ll let the ladies serve us cake…
