Is this an early design for the Exchange Building, by any chance?
Exchange Building is earlier than 1932, and the elevations are not right as it is built on the slope of Marion Street between Second and First avenues.
The “1932″ date is part of a link to a previous post (maybe it shows as normal text in an RSS reader). This does look like it could have been for the Exchange Bldg., except that the building on the right doesn’t look at all like the Burke Building. Not sure they would have worried about details like that, though.
