    I always wondered about the Pioneers building. I walk by it all the time and am fascinated that it is a museum!

    interesting little frame houses to the south of the building – maybe beached houseboats? Madison Park is a little ritzier now.

    There wasn’t much on the east side of Lake Washington in those days. I had a great aunt and uncle who had a little old farm north of Kirkland someplace, and it took forever to get there. By the way, the car partially obscured by the tree on the right is a Kaiser.
